Description
            I have no idea what to call this, and I don't really like the title I gave it. Any ideas?

            Not really much info about the inspiration behind this. All the news about the new IDW Sonic comic series and their acceptance of fanart made me want to draw something in hopes of sending it in and maybe seeing it publicized, heh. Didn't really have any ideas other than I wanted to draw Sonic with a group backed by a fun, Sonic-y abstract background that catches the feel of the Sonic franchise. Something finally hit me after several weeks, so I tried to force myself to draw it out. You know how that Shia Labeouf meme goes.

            This probably isn't the best thing I've done, but it was fun to work on. The stars give it sort of a Sonic Forces kind of feel, which is not exactly what I was going for, but I like it nonetheless. I did have that game in mind while trying to come up with this, so maybe that had an influence on it. I'm still kinda "meh" about the rest of the background, though. I was honestly lost as to what else to do with it. It was nice drawing the original main four, trying to capture each of their personalities. I like how Sonic turned out the best. I think his expression and pose turned out better than the others; I like the action and confident vigor in it. That's good since he's in the front anyway. The giant cloud of dust he left behind from sliding into the scene amuses me as well. xD

-Drawn on paper, inked with Prismacolor pens, and colored in Paint Tool Sai. Finished April 25/26, 2018. All completed in Paint Tool Sai.-
