My entry for TheRaoulDefenders contest, where Raoul is the Phantom.

I imagine Raoul to be much more sensitive and soft hearted. Very romantic, thus taking the role as the angel a little more seriously, like he wants to be hers. Concerning his disfigurement reveal, he's pretty much the same as Erik, only he broke down into tears first, then blew up in anger and back to tears and say something like "I wanted you to love me! Now you never will!" And grasping at her hand as he cried. I can't help thinking he'd be like the Charles Dance Phantom, if not similar.

I couldn't rid Raoul of his hair.

Scene
Soon after Christine's performance, Erik comes in. After watching Erik De Changy... ... *after some minutes of laughing* yeah, seeing Christine with her childhood friend and how happy she was, he became heartbroken, knowing that he loved her and it was only a matter of time before she fell in love with him as well. Once he left, he spoke with Christine.
"I must leave you now."

"What?" Christine spun around baffled by her angel's words. She looks all over the room as if it might help her find him. "Why do you say that?"

Free from the embarrassment, he started to cry and leaned his forehead on the two-way mirror. "You've broken your promise." A pause. Christine held her hands together, recalling when she had first heard her angel, along with the promise she made. "You are not to love any man." Silently he adds, "any man but me."
