Since footage for Joaquin Phoenix's joker has been released now is the perfect time to list my favorite batman villains.Batman, just like spiderman, has the most interesting rogues gallery in superhero history.
So here are my favorite villains that faced the dark knight.

You know what might be interesting? If Ras Al Ghul's hot spring belonged to someone else long before Ras and Talia were born, but unlike Ras and Talia, who just dip in the pool to reverse the aging process, this guy lived in these waters for a whole year or so. He slept with ropes around his shoulders to keep him from drowning, he ate in the waters, etc.
He did this to achieve true eternal youth, and succeeded. This guy remains youthful and athletic and is as old as civilization itself. He knows every language in the world, every martial art, has read every book ever written, etc. and he's still alive.
When this guy learns of Ras's usage of the pool just to basically taunt death, he sets out to claim that which is rightfully his. That's how Ras is finally defeated. By someone who's used this pool to its fullest extent and used its gift and its curse to become a superior man.
