Description
This is the firs map of the series "Andalusian History maps". The next is Baetica - Roman EmpireThis map is half alternative half real history. On one hand, Tartessos did exist with these limits more or less, and cities like Spal or Karm were called this way back then. On the other hand, we don't know most of the tartessian names of the settlements, so I invented them making some variations of the actual names in a tartessian-language way. The flag is the tartessian 8-pointed star in white over a green field. I took the colors of the andalusian flag, as Andalucia is located in the same region. I hope you like it.

Completely real! It is the Tartessian Bay, later called Lacus Ligustinus by the romans. Nowadays there you find the Guadalquivir Marshes.
