Woah...to begin with, I thought it was a painting or something. But then I read the discripton. It's almost like a scene from a fantasy movie. Stupendo. I'm a bit curious of where in Europe you took this. England or Ireland perhaps? The way the sun pushes through the mist and halos the forests is captured wonderfully. And the contrast to the darker parts of the cliffs certainly bring out the pine trees. I don't think I would be able to write a setting to this and give it justice...If you don't mind though, I'd like to try. With your permission of course.

Just so you know, this picture was taken by the Neuschwanstein Castle. If you look closely you can see a bridge in the picture and what you can't see, because it's to blurry is that there was a wedding photo-shoot taking place on that bridge.

you are correct, my three guy friends hiked up a different trail so they could walk on the bridge, sadly I stayed back to take pictures of the mountain scenes

I had a feeling that was it. I got vertigo on that bridge but I did get a nice shot of the castle from there. BTW it shakes a lot. When somebody walks by, you can feel it in the floor boards. I couldn't get off it fast enough. I thought Bavaria was like a little slice of heaven.

I. Am. So. Glad that I didn't go with them. From that height I probably would have grabbed onto my friend in a panic and he would have slipped then we would have both fell down to our death.
