Finally, after days of sanding, Etwahl is ready for the decoring work! instrument really quickly. Only one side of the instrument is completely drawn, while the other one is still waiting.Hope you'll like it!

Thank you! It is made out of insulation foam, expanding foam and worbla.

how did you make it smoother? cause i did a sword with it and the paper mache didnt make it smoother.Β

Firstly I have covered everything with worbla. After this I have added several layers of plaster and then I have sanded them with the sandpaper. I have used two different grains of sandpaper: the first one is grain 120 while the second one is grain 320. For sure it is a long work, but works really fine.

is the worbla is absolutely needed or i can replace it by something else ? because it costly :S Β anyway thank you for the help

Mh.. I don't know. I have chosen to cover everything with worbla because I am going to carry Etwahl around really often. Using worbla makes me sure that this instrument is really strong and resistant. Thats only why.^^
