It just occured to me that one of the reasons I like your curvy superheroines (besides CURVY SUPERHEROINES WE NEED MORE OF THEM WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE) is that their greater mass gives them a feeling of actual power.
It also feels like a renouncement of the tendency in mainstream comic artists to refuse to draw woman as anything other than a stick-thin model (they've had people who don't draw She-Hulk with muscles. SHE-HULK. THere is a serious flaw there) and as a result even the ones with apparent super-strength don't look espicially strong. Your larger ladies, on the other and much more eye-pleasantness-making hand, have great mass and that makes them look like, to turn a phrase, total sexy badasses.
And it seems even more appropiate when you turn your hand to the Superman family! Curvyness is Heroic Build for women!
