Really stunning photos of a beautiful dog!
Just three days ago my family bought a "rescue" Weimaraner who is one year old - we say "rescue" since although he wasn't from a pound, his original owners couldn't keep him and he was shut inside all day and only let outside to do his business, but the rest of the time he was getting almost zero attention, which for a breed like these guys is NOT good, especially such a young dog... so unfortunately he does have quite a lot of behavioural problems and is rather neurotic, but we wanted to give him a chance since things weren't good where he was... and he would likely have accidentally hurt someone since he wasn't discouraged from play biting as a puppy - though even in one day we had managed to almost stop this entirely, seems like hopefully he will be easily enough trained (Weims are such smart dogs of course!) and his anxious behaviour will settle down. <3 (already seems to be starting to settle a bit, since he seems to have figured out what sleep actually is now, and what beds *and couches sometimes!* are for...)
Really hope it will work out with the big guy, even if there is a lot to work on we hope it can all be fixed in time.

Agreed they are very elegant and friendly dogs. My parents has have weimarans for many years. It's a lovely portrait that captures the grace of it's fine lines.

I have wanted a Weimariner forever since the first one I ever saw. I think they are the most beautiful dogs ever. But I need more space. And time. But one day! This is a beautiful photo...and no I'm not biased to the breed at allllll

They are not far from it. Too much energy for my taste (I am way too used to my lazy Zodd), but they are true beauties.
