At the base of the new tree house, Fresnel had just begun speaking when Team Trample and Team Rowanbery had arrived. There were a few other teams with him, being briefed on what needed to be done.

“Alright, so here’s how it’s going to work,” he began. The Ampharos was visibly worn out. He had been this way for a while now. Many sleepless nights took their toll leaving bags under his eyes. On top of this he wore an irritated expression on his face, on he had gained ever since Mike’s return to the village. It was clear to most people that he wasn’t quite pleased that Mike had dumped the guild on him for the past month.

“I’m only going to say this once. There are a number of different tasks we have here. We need mons to be able to carry the equipment and material to any mons that need them who are already out there. We also need mons that can turn the soil and dig holes, plant seeds as well as water them. There should be a job for everyone this way. You’ll see everything you need for the job that way.” Upon saying this he pointed in the direction of the tree house. Sure enough, there were all sorts of material and equipment by the base of the ramp ready to be moved.

“So… we just go anywhere then?” Anther asked some time later. He was now fully loaded with all sorts of gardening supplies, as were the others. It had taken a while for them because none of them could really equip the items themselves, and needed help from other teams.

Hearth had the lightest load, but that was because of her leg injury, and the fact that nothing flammable was allowed to touch her mane. Chloe was limited in what she could carry because she was so close to the ground. Opal didn’t really have an easy place to put items, so other teams ended up hanging items on her. Much to her dismay she ended up feeling like a decorated tree. The only one who seemed to be having fun with this was Myra, who had discovered that she could attract metal tools to her wool when she accidentally fell on one. Now she was covered in all sorts of tools, giggling like a little kid.

“Oh look at you all ready to go!” a voice from above said. The small green fairy by the name of Jasmine hovered down to where they were. She took a moment to look over all of them, nodding in satisfaction. “This is great! You all can carry so much! And you!” She ran a tight circle around Anther. He swore he could feel the wind from her wings a couple times. “Teehee! Looks like you’ll get a lot done with those muscles!”

Anther stepped back and blushed slightly. Hearth rolled her eyes, while the members of Team Rowanberry giggled.

“Anyway, as for your question. I sent a team with supplies down that way.” She pointed her finger down the dirt path to the east. “Team… Team… uh. Fourteen and Backsliders? No, no, that can’t be it. You’ll know it’s them if you see an Eevee, a Riolu and a Misdreavus on one team and a Timbur with a Phanphy on another. Anyway, they couldn’t carry too much between all of them. So I told them I’d send some other teams after them. Could you go and help them?”

“Of course we will!” Chloe chimed up!

“I like your spirit!” Jasmine said happily. “Off you go then!”

“I don’t think we should be coming back here to reload in a hurry,” Opal said, once they had made some distance between them and the village. “We may be carrying a lot between all of us. But we took a long time loading up, and wasted the time of other teams for helping us.”

There was a general agreement among the rest of the group. The decision was made that wherever this job took them, they would remain there to see if their work could be put to some other use.
