Fantastic render, it's really hard to say if it's CG or a photo. Plus i like it since it's not the typical "bigger is better" show 'em all kind of picture

SaphireNishi In reply to RejZoR [2012-06-22 21:15:12 +0000 UTC]

well most part of this render is actually a photograph.. so kind explains it huh..
but the "bigger is better" is still applied to this render too.. im kinda curious what you think it means now.. cause i dont think you fully understand the meaning of it...

The person, you have called, is temporarily not available. First time I don't know, if the bench is CG or real. Nice picture my sweet dear Lady Saphire.

haha.. nice..
but yeah the bench, spahy and the tree on the right side are all 3D.. the rest is photo elements...

Great results. She really fits the scene.
Only the shadow on her right shoulder looks strange... but I can understand the difficulty of recreating the image's shadows with the render.
Good job, SN.

SaphireNishi In reply to stoper [2012-06-22 21:12:50 +0000 UTC]

thank you.. yeah i saw that too.. that shadows is actually a result from a light right in front of her.. i first thought it was coming from the hdri map i used.. anyways.. thank you...

Very nice, I really like the realistic looking background and the details, such as the leaves on the grass.
I also like (as allways of course) the model on the bench.

SaphireNishi In reply to TBRthe90th [2012-06-22 21:10:06 +0000 UTC]

thank you very much.. but i mix up photo elements to the image this time.. the leaves and grass on the ground ar all from a photo reference.. not actual 3d...

I don't think I could do that. For one thing, the commute to work would be a thousand times worse than it is now.

formula78583 In reply to ??? [2012-06-22 01:55:47 +0000 UTC]

Quick question; Are you putting CG elements (Saphire and the bench) into the picture of a real location, or is the background CG as well?

The picture is magnificent.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SaphireNishi In reply to formula78583 [2012-06-22 21:04:49 +0000 UTC]

in this case the background is a photograph.. saphy, the bench and the tree on the right side with the leaves on top are CG elements.. im trying to figure out how to use a 2d image in a 3d space without getting a lot of weird distortion in the perspective.. from the point of view now you can rotate about 30 degrees in all ways without getting big distortions.. what i need to know is how to get a full 360 so i can animate the scene and rotate in all directions without getting weird effects on the background...
