Moriarty is the brother of Makalio ; they were the first litter that consisted of more than one cub born in the pride until Queen Kya and King Hamidi had their two cubs, Samaki and Matteo. Even rarer, the litter consisted of two little princes. It was hard to believe such wonderful and joyful cubs were born to the hateful and cruel King Tsunga. Unfortunately, such innocence was not to last, as Makalio developed the same horrible mean streak as his father, becoming twisted and harsh. Towards adolescence he began enacting horrible and torturous acts out on Moriarty. Luckily, Moriarty had inherited his father's insanity, and so never felt the harsh blows from his brother's claws, though his face would always bear the scars. In spite of everything, he adored Makalio, hoping to rule by his side one day. Sadly, Moriarty never made it to see the day his elder brother was crowned King; a terminal illness took his life far too young. But perhaps it was for the better..
