Due to an issue with the artist who drew my first book cover, I had to get a new one and completely overhaul my Adramelech golmech design. This is for a fact my new golmech design and this might be my new book cover for Enders' Gate.

Ender's Game in a Fantasy Setting, more or less?

Not really. The only thing they have in common is that the main characters look similar. Enders' Gate seems to be completely different haha

Riffing off a famous thing isn't that bad though. Sometimes affectionate parodies of stuff can be famous...or it could go the other way and fail spectacularly, like Atlantic Rim, Sleeping Beauty, and other bad movies made by The Asylum.

I see what you're saying. I actually didn't have any idea that Enders Game existed when I first started writing this though. A video game named Zone of The Enders inspired the name. I first found out about Enders Game when I kept on trying to google my concept art via book title and saw that a movie was being made.Β
I never went to see the movie and I've never read the books.Β

You're welcome! Β And I totally agree with you, I've seen too many book covers where they vaguely match what's written in the book or don't match the book's content at all, I'm glad to meet someone who thinks that the cover is just as important as the content.

Thanks! A few people thought this was something related to Ender's Game at first. I remember google-ing the name of my book a long time ago and then finding out about Orson Scott Card and the upcoming movie for Ender's Game. Man, I was frustrated haha. I'm almost done with this book. Hopefully there will be no copyright issues. My story is completely different than his.

I bet you were frustrated! Sorry for bringing up the Ender's Game thing yet again. lol. It happens though. I've drawn things that look so much like per-existing art I hadn't seen before, that people thought that I ripped it off. It's lame, but what can you do?
Past the few seconds that my brain automatically edited your title to the familiar one I had known for years, I didn't think it was related at all. I mean...unless it's waaaaaaaaaaaaay before Ender's time! I don't remember there being big, hulking, medieval-looking brute or men in chainmail in Ender's Game or any of the other books in the saga.
Will it be available online? Via Kindle maybe? Or are you printing only?

Oh ok. That's cool! As much asΒ I like books, I hadn't heard of lulu. I looked it up out of curiosity. 
I never thought about the tediousness of the multiple re-reads writers have to go through. From my first few days in fourth grade to my high school years, I wrote quite a bit. My teachers even encouraged me to enter short story contests on a fairly consistent basis. Although, I was much more absorbed into drawing and painting, I still loved to write random stories and I read as many books as I could stand. Especially fantasy and sci-fi. But I never had to endure the process you are going through. Any talent I had as a writer has faded quite a bit by now and its strongest influence is my desire to tell stories visually. I guess it worked out for the better. I'm not sure I have the patience to write as you do.

For some reason I don't think I'd ever read a digital book. Something about looking at words on a computer screen makes it hard for me to dive into the world of a story. I'll be sure to let you know once I get everything published. I am honored that you are interested.

Admittedly, there is quite a difference between holding a printed book and looking at a screen. I even like the feel and smell of a real book sometimes. Weird but true. Although the "paperwhite" kindles aren't a backlit thing, like a computer monitor, they still aren't the same. It's a matter of convenience when I travel and not having much more room for printed books in my apartment. lol. I have always been able to get into a story though, whether it was an ebook or print. Looking at a computer monitor would be terrible, but the Kindle is so much closer to real paper and ink that I've been able to ignore the fact that it's not a printed book.
