Gabumon! Woooo
So out of Agumon + Gabumon, which did you prefer in the series? :3 When I was a kid I was always confused with Gabumon's pelt and I really really wanted to see what he looked like under there! I had this thought that he was a variation of Agumon. But I've seen concept art without the pelt and he looks so weird X'3 kind of like a lizard...so how he turns into a giant metal wolf makes no sense X'3

... I never really understood either, but that's the magic of Digimon. It doesn't have to make sense. It just needs to be entertaining and charming.

oh yeah, I guess that's where it differs from Pokemon, there's less contrictions and therefore you get wackier designs

And it isn't limited to a three-staged evolution, either. I mean, sure. There's mega-evolution, but Digimon can digivolve well beyond that, or achieve different forms depending on the situation. SkullGreymon and Omegamon come to mind. But my favorite part has to be how they can digivolve back to their original stage if they don't have enough energy.Β

Well, Gabumon becoming a Wolf kinda makes sense, if you keep real world Evolution in mind. Synapsid is the word!

While it has never been officially confirmed, I think it is the base idea behind it. Also shows up again with Gabumon X, who is a Beast Digimon like Garurumon, which makes a lot sense given that X Digimon are pretty much further evolved forms of the original Digimon and Agumon was upgraded to a Dinosaur, like Greymon.

I think Salamon was a dog Digimon too, then Gatomon is a cat X'3 and her mega was a pink beast dragon (OR a cooler angel)

Thank you so much! I chose to do it in such away because it was done in the Digimon movie ^^ I really liked the style in the movie. I think with certain digimon it doesn't work (when it doesn't contrast) but I feel like I have to commit to a style X'3
