I love how can you draw Near's emotions so well and without Oocness, I agree with the rest, he's not emotionless, to be honest i have never tought of him that way

I know!, my sister is acyually one of the persons who think him to be that way, specially for how he was presented at the one-shot, but i almost jumped in happiness when the How to read volume, sort of confirmed my theory about Near being actually sensitive person, but being like a Tyke Bomb pretty much shaped him in what he is now.

wow, what i wouldn't give to know what he's thinking... again, you've done an amazing job capturing an emotion and pumping it 100% into the picture. and something about the fact that there's no line-art for Near's face makes the whole thing so much more beautiful...

well, when i drew it i was kind of thinking about how any normal person would be overwhelmed by the pressure of the case and everyone around him dying off like flies. he probably feels a bit like screaming.

That is really pretty. It is so nice to see Near portrayed with a little emotion and wonder. I really like how you did his hair, just gives this piece so much motion.

Wow, I think this is the most epic Near I've ever seen! Everyone always draws him so emotionless, but there's definitely a lot of emotion in this pic. ^_^

thanks! ^^ I was trying not to make him too soppy looking...but really, the poor kid's been through a lot, so I felt it fell reasonably within the bounds of artistic license hehe.
