The gallery is the one at the far end of the street with the pillars. Glasgow's architecture is wonderful, if you ever visit, remember to look up. The buildings, mostly 19th century, are very ornate. At this time, Glasgow was known as "The Second City of the Empire". It's wealth knew no bounds and therefore the wealthy industrialists etc showed off their wealth in the buildings that they commissioned.
At this time of year, Glasgow's skyline never really gets dark as the Sun never goes very far below the horizon before it is rising again.
