I think I have a subconscious fetish for pirates.Both of the MMORPGs I play that I REMOTELY like are both pirate themed, I love anything that's to do with ships...
and by an amazing coincidence, the Doctor Who audio book that my friend Nelly sent me for Christmas was the Resurrection Casket, which is pretty much based around space pirates.
Treasure Island was also the most surprising box office bomb I have ever seen. I mean it was freaking as hell awesome.
This is a sketch I've been working on and off for like a week.
I can't watch DW anymore! I can't stand the Martha/Doctor closeness! It's burning me. It makes me want to scream and kick and act like a baby. Hey look at that. I'm already doing great at the latter.
I'm just... RRR... MRALKAJGLWA. I read a Martha/Doctor fic the other day and I think I grew a bit nauseated. Don't ask me why I read it... I don't know either.
Was there a whole "plus one" scene in Lazarus? Cause if he or she said those words in that episode I'm going to...
Anyway, on a happier note, enjoy the Doctor "Arr"-ing at some monsters and the slight fluffiness. Sorry Rose went off the page, but I drew the Doctor in the middle for some reason and meh. Maybe I was thinking of drawing monsters on the other side. Which is HILARIOUS, because we all know I can't draw that.

I got really depressed around halfway through the series... didn't bother watching "Human Nature" until "Family of Blood" came out... -sniffle-
If it helps, _she_ said that he was her plus one and either I'm being so shippy I'm seeing things or he suddenly looked very depressed. Probably a bit of both.

Worry not, I don't like the Martha much either lol, BUT let's console ourselves with the fact that
a) The Doctor will always love Rose
and
b) Martha clearly had the hots for that dude in 42
and
c) She's just... rubbish. Shame...

Martha just..never fails to annoy me. I don't know why I don't like her, I just don't xD Shes alright I suppose, its just the fact she reckons the Doctor loves her really gets on my nerves.

I adore the idea of Ten in pirate gear!
And as for the whole Ten and Martha thing, I offer these thoughts:
1) every hug and flirt is instigated by Martha, who's proven that she's not used to not getting what she wants, and the idea that the Doctor could fall for a human (Rose) but not her is baffling.
2) Watch the confidentials- Even though the episode's supposed to be Martha heavy, she's in it for 3 or four minutes tops. Rose ends up showing up more often than she does! (That and David has this wonderful line about the Doctor being absolutely fine with Martha getting eaten).
3) You can always just skim the eps until Jack comes back, because you know that's going to be a Rosefest.

I've just been going over the summaries on Wiki. That way I can understand the continuity without getting any of the mush.
I was actually not thinking about Doctor/Martha until I read this fic about "Plus One" on whofic. Despite it being about how the Doctor didn't consider Martha his "plus one", the fact that it was in the episode made me mad. In fact, I had my jacket half on and was on my way to the airport to trample her. (Not true, don't hold me to this.)
I'm just seeing a lot more D/M around and it's just getting to me I guess. Like it wasn't already getting to me in Runaway Bride even.
And the Doctor's the one person who can go completely unnoticed by standing out obnoxiously. I imagine a lot of people playing tug-of-war with his trench coat.

Actually, judging by Outpost Gallifrey and most sites, D/R is now pretty much cannon. This ep was actually not good all around, and the whole "plus one" was rather forced. I honestly felt the writer was desperate to make Martha remotely likeable. Yea the Martha/Doctor thing just makes me uncomfortable..they spend half the time showing how much older and wiser she is than rose and then they have Martha act like a love sick teenager 
I do like the nod to Rose in all the eppisodes so far tho - can't wait until the next one...god i hope we can get Jack talking about her too!
