FINALLY DONE! The first contest prize, for RedTheLioness , of her versions of Uru and Ahadi. She said that Ahadi is kind of a goofball, but Uru is more serious. She wanted me to draw them with Uru laughing- a true rarity, apparently.
It was so much fun to do the background here. It' been forEVER since I just got to draw a fully detailed background, it was so damn calming, haha. I spent more time on the background than anything else in this piece.

The way you did the background..... It looks so good!
I especially love how you made priderock - it's so... rocky, and somehow slim, but yet looks good!
It's also nice how you did the grass - so detailed, yet simple.
Of course, since characters are done to look like complex, it somehow conflicts with the simple grass.
I think some heavier shading on grasses around the characters could've fixed it a bit!c:
But, on else way, this piece of work is hella pretty, maybe one of your best TLK works

Yes, I agree with you, and I know I could have added more detail to the grass up close to try and balance it out, but it was already flattened, so... Yeah.
