so.. i opened the commissions, i had to change the prices sorry ;-;Theres a rules ofc if u wanna order:. -give me the ref of the character. -give me your paypal. -you should pay first then ill draw for you.
things that i will draw:-original characters.
-fanarts (anime - games)
things that i wont draw:.
-People.
-Mecha/Armors
-NSFW ( ecchi/hentai, yaoi, yuri, violence, gore..?)-Animals ( pokemon and things alike,...).So heres the prices of each type:. Sketch: $20.USD.
Headshot: $40.USD +10USD for detailed charactrs.
Chibi: $70.USD +10USD for detailed characters.
Half body: $90.USD +10USD for detailed characters.
Full body: $100.USD +10USD for detailed characters.a drawing with a BG: $200.USD +10USD for detailed charactrs( i will use paypal ONLY)

Honestly it makes me sad to see those kinds of comments.. its another reason why some of the artists are really scared raising their prices.

if starting artists with low starting prices brought you here then fuk u, this person seem to be professional enough to charge this much -__-
did u know that artists only make money from their drawings, sometimes? its a job as any other.
if you want lower price, go for someone who is not a professional, not high class artists. i dont really know what ppl even expect. -__-

the art is absolutely amazing and should not be undercharged at any rate. the prices are perfectly fine.
pps:
theres a list of things that are included in arts prices: (may differ w everyone)
1. - art schools
2. - artistic needs (tablet, pencils, ...)
3. - artists time
4. - any need that everyone needs
5. - details of the drawing
6. - studying commissioned char to get the picture right
7. - canvas size
8. - color balance
etc etc
doesnt really sound like 1 buck for a drawing.

This is like the weirdest thing... Quite honestly, I have commissioned a lot in this community and I can definitely say her prices are not unusual for her level of talent and artwork. In fact I have seen a lot of artists who charge more for styles in my opinion equal or less than her quality and they never get such slack for their prices. I get these prices are ones that not everyone can afford, but if you can't just don't commission and find price ranges which you can. No reason to comment complaining about these prices... It just makes you look bad and seems like you are peer pressuring Sassucchi to lower their prices.

I don't understand why people keep complaining about the prices of her commissions, first of: if you don't like the prices then don't order a commission, and there is also no reason to comment here and say it is too expensive. Do you guys actually have any idea how many years it can take in order to become even half this good as Sasucchi? Plus it is her FULL right to price her commissions the way she sees fit. So please stop bothering her with it, and just leave it if you don't like the prices. you must understand that comments like that aren't nice, plus it is not your right to Judge her prices either.

Your prices are a bit high, but I guess that's to be expected! Most of us can't afford such high prices because we need to pay car payments etc. Compared to other artists out there, your prices are actually better than what they dish out.

Wow this is the most fair prices I've seen in Deviantart for quite a while. All the prices I've seen is just 10$ for chibi, 30$ for a full body character, and I'm like... what?
I feel very sad and frustrated how artists undervalue themselves so much, we practically need decades of experience and practice to be able to reach a higher level and improve.
And then, unfortunately, people who doesn't draw as a professional, thinks that they're entitled to be judgemental about people who has fair prices and don't see the true value of art. Also a lot of people are so uninformed about copyright and intellectual property that sickens me.
I had to congratulate you for not being "scared" and standing up for your art! You really deserve a follow just for that!

I get where you are coming from and I do agree that artist undervalue their art. but on the other hand: If they don't get commissions because people think they undervalue it, they will lower it in the hopes of getting more commissions. In my opinion it's a 50/50 situation. 1. their art is more worth then they think. 2. they lower their prices to get more commissions.
I think that people should give the artist what they think the commission is worth. ^^

I also get frustrated when people who are new to commissions ask in forums for peoples opinions, and a majority give such low prices its ridiculous. I mean its different if your art maybe isnt as polished as a pro, but still. People get mad at my prices all the time but they dont understand the sheer amount of hours I work on each piece, hell im not even working for min wage at this point.
People need to value their work more, their art has so much more value than two dollars per piece :3

I just came by and saw your comment and I wanted to say thanks for your words. I have similar prices and few weeks ago someone wanted a commission and stared haggling because she said my art is too expensive. At the end I rejected her commission because I didn't want to draw for less but I still felt so bad and worried about my prices. So this comment made me feel a little better now.

Do you still take colored sketch commissions at that price? If so, I'm guessing it is still considered one of the 4 commissions you take a month. Also, sketches probably vary in how much of the Oc it shows from bust to thigh right?

It makes me sad when I see all the people in the comments complaining about the prices. There's such a devaluation of digital art price wise, if it was a painting and someone charged that amount nobody would complain. Really it's the same thing, digital art takes time, requires materials as well (tablet, internet connection, computer etc.) and some people depend on it as their soul source of income. You are not entitled to her art and if you really liked her art or appreciated her as an artist you would respect the prices she has decided her art is worth, not degrade her by saying her art is worth less than that. Her art is beautiful, high quality and if you consider the prices in comparison to the time she most likely spends per drawing she probably earns less than or around the same price as minimum wage. You are not obligated or forced to buy her art so just leave her alone if you're going to complain about what she prices her art at.

It's always nice to see that not everybody thinks digital art should be as cheap as possible or free.
I'm always happy to see when people charge much because art takes hours regardless of whether it's digital or not. But some doesn't understand that and doesn't think baout that art is still a luxury. I felt bad lately because I have similar prices and there was someone who wanted two pictures but wasn't ok with my prices so she started haggling. I felt really bad and kind of worthless but at the end I rejected the commission. It's really not ok to complain about prices.
