Allow me to introduce Stealth "Stella" the Hedgehog.Man...Stella. Never thought I'd ever name a character that. Its a nice name though. Stella is Latin for "Star". ^_^ But that isn't the point.
I was challenged by a friend and fellow fan of Old School Sega to draw up my own "Per-Sonic-a", or rather my own character from the Sonic the Hedgehog Universe.
I naturally wanted to make a female, but as far as the character styles went, I wasn't familiar with the body structures of female Mobians. So, I did a little research by browsing through millions of fan arts.
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with the results.
Seems folks are hung up on the Rouge body type, giving their female characters Big Boobs, Girly Ballroom length gloves, and high Go-Go boots. I know that "Sex Appeal" tends to draw in the views, but c'mon... ¬_¬
So I decided to go against the grain. Using the basic structure of the Mobian body, I began to piece her together.
First I chose to make her a hedgehog, just for simplification purposes. Since the Hedgehog types tend to be very active and athletic in this universe, I aimed to make her body realistically proportioned. REAL athletic women don't carry huge honkers on their chests. Makes for some awkward and painful running(I should know...
). No UBER boobs, but she still has her femenin curves, so no worries guys. 
Also...if anyone wishes to raise a n00bish point that: "Ooh! She's Topless! Where are her Nipples?!" Let me ask you this...Do you see any nipples or any other "exposed" parts on the male characters since they wear NOTHING but SHOES? HA! I win!
Next I designed her spikey "Hair" and face to resemble that of an old character of mine. Her color scheme of Purple and Yellow also mimic the old character...also they are my favorite colors.
I gave her the short wrist length gloves. I think they accent her design perfectly. She wears a long yellow sash to match her eyes...also because it seems inescapable that female characters wear at least ONE article of clothing to make them more flashy than the males...I guess.
Also her boots were designed to be more fitting to her feet and the soles were made for traction and movement. No high heels, unless a girl wants to hurt and ankle or shatter a shin or knee. Simply common sense in their design. The lace up design was inspired by my favorite Sailor Senshi, Saturn. I'll probably recolor them though. Their color blends too closely to her skin/fur color.
*Edit* Faded the boots to a lighter shade of crimson purple. I like how they look now. Also, I lightened the color on the "Spikes" on her back so that you can see the outline better.
And Stealth, AKA Stella, is complete. I decided that "Stella" would make a good "Nickname" for her since the name Stealth didn't sound too femenin, but I liked the title. Also, Stealth and Stella sound similar, at least in the first part of the names.
I'll probably develope a background story for her later on if I wish to persue her development. Who knows...I grew up with the Sonic games, so you never can tell where I might go with this. But I will say this...there is NO chance in HELL I'm pairing her up with Sonic as a sort of LOVER. I'm not that hard core of a fan.

If "killing her" is meant by "role playing" I wouldn't recommend it.
Role playing with her "character" will only further encourage her to lie and steal more.
I'd suggest not watching her and leave her to fade away. Best way to kill a troll.

How would her parents have known to name her Stealth when she was a baby? And yes Miles is Tails' real name. Yuji Naka forced Tails' creator to change it to Tails. And the 1992 manga called Sonic Nikki.

Yuji Naka didn't force it, "Tails" is his nickname because he has 2 tails. Y'know, basic grammer, the "s" at the end of the word is to indicate a Plural Noun.
His name "Miles Prower" AGAIN, is a PUN. Pun = joke. Miles Prower is a PUN of Miles Per Hour - The north American measure of speed, which works in conjunction with Sonic, relating both characters to Speed.
And in referecne to the manga you are referring to, that was not a publication that was endorsed by SEGA. It was basically the Japanese version of Archie, printed in the "Shogaku-Yonensei" magazine which is basically, and translated to; an Elementary School Magazine.
It was basically a fan-made comic that was used to give school kids something exciting to read and relate to while in school. That manga is no longer in print or available and does not apply to the Sonic cannon of characters.
Why is Sonic named Sonic? Because he is Fast, and the word sonic is related to super speed.
Why is Blaze named Blaze? Because she's a Pyrokinetic.
Why is Silve named Silver? Because he's a silvery/white color.
Why is Knuckles named Knuckles? Because he has the 2 spiked knuckles on his gloves.
Why is Big named Big? Because he is freaking Big.
Why are the rabbits named Vanilla and Cream? Mother and daughter dairy references.
Why is Cream's pet Chao named Cheese? PUN = Cream Cheese.
And once again, you are trying to work in human logic in a cartoon/video game world. Why would anyone name these characters anything normal or human?
Why not name them Fred? Bucky? Skipper? Ted? Aloysius?
Because that is boring. Who wants to play a game called Fred the Hedgehog?
And in regards to MY character, perhaps Stealth's family had a stealthy tradition to name their family members as such? Maybe they were ninjas? You don't know, you did not create her. I created her. I named her. The name Stealth is her name.
Stop brain-nuking this. It isn't a hard concept to understand.

Her real name's probably Stella and she cals herself Stealth because she's stealthy. I'm sure Sonic's parents didn't name him Sonic.

No. Her real name is Stealth. Her "nickname" is Stella, given to her by her adopted father.
Sonic's name is Sonic. He wasn't introduced as Fred, the "Sonic" Hedgehog or anything of the sort. Even with Tails having the name "Miles Prower" it is a pun on "Miles Per Hour".
Either way, though, Sonic has only been known as Sonic.
These are cartoon/game characters we are talking about. They can have whatever name their creators give them, and since I'm Stealth's creator, her name is Stealth.
She is Stealthy, which is why I chose the name.

Well, it doesn't have a happy start.
The Baron and Dark kidnap Stealth and Melody in order to trap Right, then they learn of Stealth condition. Right's emerald is taken right out of him, (So he is dead.) and Stealth's emerald is born. After a big battle with a third character, (Either one of Right's brothers or a friend.) the emeralds are recovered. The Baron, Dark, and Melody are presumed dead.
17 years later, the third character has his/her own family. Everything goes great until an assassin comes after the emeralds. That assassin is covered in scars and is identified as Melody. (Not a clone.) Which means the Baron and Dark are still alive. The TC at that point goes after them.
(Note: Stealth's background gave me the idea for communication with the emerald's bearer to holder, and vice-versa.)
