Description Dates: 10/17/21-10/20/21

Aritist's Notes: A commission done for . These are the karambit sharks, predators of the previously shown lantern sharks possessing large inwardly curled teeth that prevent their mouths from fully closing. From left to right, top to bottom they are:

Roland's Orcus: One of the more "conservative" of the of the karambit sharks, uses its bioluminescent barbels to lure prey which it snaps up with its large tusk like teeth, based on the Piranhadon from the 2005 remake of King Kong and the orc or orcus, a sea monster featured in Orlando Furioso

Sea Wraith: Another transparent variety equipped with a secondary set of jaws like the real world moray eel

Dragon Shark: Based on the real world frilled shark and deep sea dragonfish, and the sea dragon leviathan from Subnautica

Rod of Tartarus: A swift and agile variety that uses its multiple pairs of fins to quickly change direction in the water, based on the air rod cryptid

Stygian Crocodile Shark: A benthic ambush preadtor that lays in wait for prey on the sea floor, based on the deep sea lizardfish and a dream I had featuring a crocodilian that would attract prey with a glowing lure

Terry's Makara: Uses its muscular trunk to mimic a species of lantern shark and draw in prey, based on peter's elephantnose fish and the makara from Berserk
