Born in 1320, Miles grew up near the city. His mother was from the city while his father was an Irish farmer.
He had a simple life, one that you would call simple in 1320.

[ADULTHOOD]

Before the plague had begun he was a simple doctor. He also was taught about the Plague of Justinian, making him a perfect candidate when the Black plague started.
He first only had to travel to nearby towns, writing down who died and try to treat those who had been infected already.
His life became lonelier, being locked up for quartine several times especially after being scratched by a person.
One day he saw a suspicious person, decided to follow them and to question them. It was a bad idea.
Before he knew it, he was laid on the ground, the grass being much greener.

Apparently, he had managed to follow a time traveler, which of course wasn't even a concept back then.
He roams around, trying to figure out where he is and what is going on.
He also realized that most people don't have the accent he is used to.
They also seem to think he is a 'cosplayer'
