Description Another action shot, Rasconza this time. He's using the Sampetrain form of martial arts, Dragon's Strike .. which is becoming a lost art among the common people. The only characters that truly have a true level of mastery of it are Rasconza, Arashi, Barranca, Sagitar, Ublaz, and Shilo. Romsca knows a little. It was created by the Dragon house, (hence the name) and was considered a fighting style mostly for the wealthy and nobility. Because Ublaz nearly wiped the Dragons out as well as many of their close affiliates, the art of Dragon's Strike is fading away. Thanks to Arashi and Barranca, (and their star pupils, Xzaris and Clecky) it is reborn and becomes widely used throughout Sampetra, becoming an iconic style of the nation and even gaining influence world-wide. So yep, if you wondered why Sampetra wasn't full of ninjas, that's why. Though Rasconza is one XP I was pretty proud of the pose. Also I used a new set of pencils I got for Christmas, so if the colors are a bit strange, that's why.

Rasconza looks really cool there! I like his simple outfit, too. Guess he was taught Dragon's Strike by his father, if it's considered an art for nobility? Though I suppose common people would appreciate a way to disable an opponent without weapon, but lack time and knowledge to learn them?

Thanks! Doesn't he? That's his usual outfit under his coat and hat. He's just not wearing all that  extra stuff to practice Yea, Kastaa also knew it as their family was rich enough to afford the training. Since most masters were of the royal house, they could charge whatever they wanted to teach, and trust me, they made the prices high. Meaning the greater population of Sampetra couldn't afford to learn it. When the age of their piracy began, it was law that all captains and over half of their crews know the skill, but once they'd subdued the seas it became easier and easier to raid, so they got rid of that law as it was burdensome and time-consuming. Also, the ratguard used to be forced to learn it as part of their training, but with most attacks at long range, a good marksman was more desirable than a master of Dragon Strike. And yea, the common fisherbeast or shipbuilder has no time or money to learn.
