I'm finally able to post the present I made for my boyfriend for Christmas!This is his OC Ottily, I created for him this summer! ^^ We just had a chibi version of her, so I wanted to show him, how she looks in normal sized ^^
I guess, this is the most elaborate artwork, I ever made and it took me about 9-10 hours xD.
But it was totally worth it and my partner is also super happy and likes it a lot!
so please, no harsh critique for this one, I know it's not perfect and there are some things I could have made better

I really like this ^^
I think the colour pallette in this is really pretty, the cool blues and the warm browns and oranges balance each-other very nicely. The way that the gold fish seem to be glowing gently is also pretty nice -w-
A little thing I personally think that could be worked on is the shadows, since they are quite light. I know that darkening shadows can be pretty intimidating, but it really does improve drawings to have a couple dark tones ^^
Atm, I'd say that this is probably one of my favorite drawings of yours so far

You're right, I'm often not sure with shadowing light colors, esp. white, so yeah, I need to work on that ^^
