I really like how this turned out!I finally drew my girl Kira in her school uniform (never done that uwu) and I even made a proper background! I didn't do one in ages xD even if it's simple, I like it!
I also tried a new way of coloring and I was so much faster with it o.o
Her hands could be better and something with her skirt is not quite right, but well xD
So, one of her abilities is telekinesis which she often uses on herself. That's why she can float around ^^

wow, I love the background you made here!
It's very easy on the eyes, and the settled colour-change from darker in the edges, to lighter in the middle directs the eye to the character ^^
She's very cute/pretty btw uwu
A little thing that I personally would change is the colour of her stockings.
I think that atm her purple stockings look a little out of place, and are a bit distracting from the rest of the figure. I think changing them to the same pink as her hair could give the design a sense of consistency by repeating the same colours, but still make her look unique.Β
You could also use the blue or white of her uniform if you want to draw attention to her head by making it the only place that's pink ^^
General tip is to try and keep a colour pallette as limited as possible.
Limited = simple = easy to read = good
A rule I personally often use is to keep it limited to about 7 colours in total, and use each colour in at least two places(unless it's for skin)

Ah yeah, Kira is such a sweetheart I should draw her more often ^^
I think it's always so funny how you point out the things I struggled with or wasn't sure about xD I swichted colors for her stockings like 10 times xD
I didn't want them to be just black or to match with the school uniform, cause that wouldn't fit Kira's style ^^
So I chose a dark purple in the end referring to her pupils, and cause she likes purple itself, but yeah. Maybe I really should have made them lighter ^^
Thanks for the advice. It's a good way for using color palettes! I try to not use as much colors, too. But sometimes I just want to go wild xD (I'm just thinking about another OC of mine who wears really vibrant and contrasting colors
