Yes all Christians are bad people, Jesus was horrible person that didn't preach the values of caring for those less fortunate, education, and tolerance.
Very radical, and immature way of looking at things.
problem?

To be fair, he talked about Christians, not Jesus, so there's the benefit of being able to apply Ghandi's "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians; your Christians are so unlike your Christ" quote.
Still doesn't change the fact that this is a gross and hateful generalization.
God told me she preferred atheists anyway...

Turning google images into demotivators does not substitute original content that, as soon as you upload it, is put under your copyright and responsibility.
We got photobucket for uploads like these, dA is for original content.
And on a directly related note, I'd rather stick with a quote of Ghandi: "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
It's way less aggressive, but (sadly) is just as generalizing.

Ok, this isn't hate, even though it might sound like it. I know this is a play off of the video, but this picture is a little tasteless. Not all Christians are fanatics, I'm not saying that cuz I am one, fuck I'm an atheist, and I grew up in freakin Texas. But I know several Christians who you wouldn't know were Christian unless you asked them.

I hate how people ONLY bash Christians. ONLY ONLY ONLY ONLY. If someone has bashed another religion and you've seen it, you deserve a cookie.
People bash the stupid Christians but they think all of the Christians are like that. The bible says you shouldn't shove your beliefs down people's throats.
If they don't wanna listen, that's it. I'm not saying that Christians won't try and spread the word, they will but they're not supposed to be so persistent. And if you don't like it, go kill yourself or something.
A lot of Christians ignore what the bible says and listen to their "precious" pastor that doesn't know a damn thing. THAT'S why you cunts think ALL Christians are annoying or dumb or whatever.
If they just followed what the bible says, they'd be less of a "problem".

Actually, Christians are definitely not the only ones getting bashed. Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, and various others get bashed on a normal basis. My fiance is Muslim. As soon as people know he is their attitude changes instantly towards him.
I do however agree with you on listening to the bible and not to their "pastor". More people, in every religion, need to follow that example. Once people start realizing that they need to read and learn for themselves, and not have someone else do it for them, the world will be a better place.

Are you insane, a lot of people bash other religion. Muslims get a lot of flack for their incredibly numerous and hardcore extremist. Judaism gets laughed at all the time, sure they get a big pass because of the whole 2nd WW thing but that's wearing thin. That's the big 3 right there. Everyone should be making fun of Scientology but still a lot of people do.
So stop playing martyr ok, but what else can you expect from a christian?
Btw good joke Sc1r0n.

In the bible, it says that if a man rapes a woman, he is forced to marry her. Not sure which passage, but I'm sure you can ask someone else for the details.
So I kinda don't wanna follow the bible. Seeing as I'm female and rape-able.

I love how people can be so sure about something they aren't sure of.
Find the passage if you think the bible says that instead of asuming it is so.
I'm not religious myself but I have read alot of passages from the bible and it is a very complicated piece of work.
There happens alot from the fall of Adam and Eve in the Old Testament to Pauls Letters in the New Testament. Alot of different takes on the rights of man, woman and child and even God gets another role from being a scary lord who commands you take part in his plan, to becoming the love among people.
The bible is complex and it is not what makes religion dangerous. Niether the Torah, the Koran nor the Bible are bad, but it is the people who misuses the messages from them who are the dangerous ones. The fanatics who brainwashes people to get power.
That's how I see it.

"If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, 29 he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her. Deuteronomy 22:28-29

I havent seen that but if it does say that, then it's probably for a good reason.
But anyway, you said HE is forced to marry you. Not the other way around. If a rapist had just followed the bible, he wouldnt have raped anyone in the first place. And if someone did rape you, what makes you think they're gonna follow the bible?
They're just gonna be like:
Marry her? LOL NO!
Ooooh that's a pretty girl. *rape*

Don't worry, all of the Christians will disappear on the holy Rapture, but after they all beam up, some of the non-believers will convert after seeing the paranormal event.

Not necessarily a FAIL, there. The Bible is pretty clear on the fact that any Christian after the rapture will face severe persecution, community expulsion, financial ruin and death at the hands of the non-Christians. So it wouldn't be the same world at all, especially in respect to Christian's influence over society.

The Idea of god is to give hope which then was used to Control others the Church used The "Light of Hope" to Control the people who worshiped him/It, Look in the medieval ages you payed the church more or less... oh wait we still do, what does a higher power going to do with money. did you know churches dont pay taxes for utility and such? and they get donations for a god that has no need for money, or in my sense a NON-Existent Power that has need for money. its a carefully thought out plot and even the government uses god as well for there own gain

I hate how a lot of atheists are very smug about their beliefs, I don't know what's worse the smug overly religious people or the atheists that swear they know everything and get angry at any religious sentiment. I know the video was just somebody's opinion and they are entitled to it, and that it was just a joke or something to think about. I get it and respect that, just like I can understand how important religion is. But both sides just make me so mad sometimes. I hate the whole " count down to doomsday " that all these nut jobs and wing dings are doing. If the world really does end are you really going to spend your last day on earth instilling misery? Have fun! Enjoy yourself because you will NEVER be able to do any of these things EVER again. Repent and have a nice eternity. Don't make it miserable for everyone else on the planet. But if the end of the world doesn't happen of 2012 I don't want to hear atheists brag and be all smug either. You didn't die in a hell fire, celebrate in a way to show how happy you are that EVERYONE is alive and well.
It also reminded me of an argument I had with my brother who happened to be an atheist, he told me to go to hell and I laughed at him ( Not a real laugh just a mock. ) . I myself do believe in god but for him to tell me that was just hilarious, how do you tell someone to go to a place you don't believe in? That's like me telling him to go to fraggle rock or no where land from Maggie and Ferocious beast. It was so rediculus that I pointed that out to him. He got so upset with me he called me a bitch and told me that he hopes I die.

Why is it okay to openly insult Christians and their beliefs? What happened to this being an age of tolerance for differences? It's bad taste and offensive to make fun of race, sexual orientation, and other religions, but Christianity is free game to potshots. The video did nothing to make me believe that the people behind it were "thinking Atheists," only immature people looking for cheap, easy laughs at others' expense.
Now, I never believed or supported the rapture claims, as Jesus himself said "No man knows the day nor the hour," and the concept of the rapture itself is not supported by scripture.
I realize you're a troll and you're trolling because you like to see people get mad at you and sloppily try to argue back. I'm going to do neither and simply say that if you want people to start thinking hard and examining their worldviews and beliefs (which is something I encourage) then ease up on the hating, okay?
God bless.

I completely agree with you about militant Bible-thumping. It rarely if ever works, and is extremely annoying. And hardcore Atheists insulting religion are just as irritating.
And I know exactly what you mean about clichΓ©s and Christians being the most vocal about it. It stems from centuries of doing everything wrong, and it's still engrained. Jesus never taught to spread his word through threats of hell and shoving it down people's throats. He taught us to spread love and compassion and lead others to him through kindness and example. But it's too easy to feel superior and smug, and it's human nature to try to feel more powerful than others around you and religion makes it very easy to feel that way.
I appreciate your opinions and thank you for being civil with them. ^__^

No seriously, it's nice to know that there are people who share the same idea even though they have a different religion (even though I know there are, it's always nice to get confirmation, haha!)
I think that sometimes the world needs a little shaking by extremists though.
