I considered going with Starfire, but I decided to go for a more traditional Bad v Good.Blackfire: Elder sister to the Teen Titan Starfire, Blackfire is far more malicious then her sister, taking great pleasure in trying to destroy her sister. Her crimes are many, and include everything from attempted murder to selling her sister into slavery.
Samus: An ex-Galactic Federation soldier turned bounty hunter, Samus has had a long history of protecting planets and galaxies from galactic menaces, all thanks to her iconic power armor. But even without it, Samus is still one of the earliest, and most powerful females in the history of Video Games.
So who will it be? The vicious space criminal or the bounty hunter? Starbolts or Power Cannons? Comic Books or Video Games? Only you can decide...

Samus has 14 energy tanks in prime, and 20 in Fusion(Not using numbers within tanks: Since that's an annoying game mechanic to use) So she has 34 rechargeable energy that either can be done manually or the suit heals her automatically: There are 4 reserve tanks that heal her fully, 3 E-recovery tanks through a method called concentration, Crystal flash after laying a miniature Nuke'of'a Power-bomb- which explodes then that energy engulfs her to heal her, And her Metroid Cell'ed body(Which I'll explain). The suit in-general is powered by her mentality so there's no way to really power it down, because she's been hacked by droids created by Telepathic and dimensional technological entities, where it gave her a few seconds after-word to reboot.
Metroid Cell’ed Zero Suit Samus would be the Core of absorption abilities under the suit, because each fist/energy to Samus face would leach energy into Samus through her punching, healing her if somehow she’s damaged. Sort of like a pseudo wolverine. Since The Metroids>>>X parasites: who could take over gravity altering machines more powerful than Micro black-holes , DNA that allows Precognition, Bleach through Multi-country shielding(Which I'll explain), change biological structure to a frozen state, etc. The Metroids are bio-weapons that can absorb just about any amount of energy: Wave energy(EMR), Ice, Plasma, Phazon and Dark Energy/Dark matter without being annihilated when the Phazonic Ing possessed them. She’s even got a pistol that can freeze Space-pirates who should be close to her weight-class who's a 80-100 tonner(In-which case someone gets Frozen easily) her Metroid DNA body can most likely resist Anti-matter Annihilation since Metroids are FAR from human.
Standard Varia Suit can handle the infinity void which is full of Formless Anti-matter(Its debatable that it could be either only Galaxy wide since the story took place in a galaxy, OR its an infinite void of anti-matter) Where she fights Gorea who life wiped the Tetra-galaxy, out-smarting Telapathic transcendent beings. The Omega Cannon is stated to be “Mass Destruction” via gamma-radiation, it takes many shots in close quarters combat to end Gorea- 6 or 7, where she’s not effected by its After-math that would logically be there without game-mechanics. So knowing there’s 34 energy tanks in prime, she can handle 7 city leveling explosions(Though not at the center) for each-tank, which if you stack that logic would make her Multi Country level in only her Varia with Recharges.
Where she comes from makes her VERY strong- She’s able to smash a Robot that game-mechanically does not break down when fired at with super-missiles and when she runs at Mach-speeds into them, So there’s kinetic force enough to thrash metal stronger than Earthly metals and materials With Multi Micro black-hole G force replication. Where she comes from, traveling in water would be her traveling in Solid material(Even in Base power-suit) So She could easily pass through Weak mattered material on earth(Not even Mentioning the Gravity Suit which bypasses gravitational effects: like Space, 800G water and 800G Lava which is WAY thicker than that water) So Zero Suit phases through To armor and rips out a heart before even getting the G-suit. Her strength combined with her speed-boosters could slice through mountains casually.
The fusion nightmare boss could manipulate a whole room, vibrating it’s self through the floor in the beginning of the fight. The gravity of nightmare slows down samus weightclass and her missiles. Her missiles can destroy mother brains container which in the manga is stated to use the same material and system as the planetary defense shield on zebes, and the pirates and Ridley resorted to a micro black hole to tear half of it off. So the gravity of nightmare surpasses that of her traveling micro black-hole missiles(in a g force sense not an actual event horizon) And the large room and matter warp would be condensed in her area location when she has nightmares technology.
The Light suit can manipulate Light, bio and geothermal energy through her tractor beam, is able to teleport within photons of Light- She’s able to react perfectly fine when landing on one-knee when in reentry of the light, so her Reaction time should be LS(And so since her reaction is LS, add her suits Sense-move precognition to make her reaction time Barely FTL since the suits reaction goes beyond her own reaction). Since she’s able to manipulate light, she could potentially make herself invisible. Not to mention she Game-mechanically dodges her Wave-beam which is EMR which travels at the speed of light(While being invisible). The light Suit needed 3/4’ths of a planet’s energy for it to be created(bio, solar and geothermal energy), The suits durability should at least be 1/4 if not 1 and a half of the planet’s energy, and she’s able to absorb 12% of a planet’s energy with the light suit. Stacking this to the already Multi country and black-hole-like layers.
P.E.D Suit Puts her into Hyper-mode, which coats her physical form in Phazon: Amping her strength. But Before entering Planet Phaaze: her Biological structure was 75% corrupted, but when getting to Phaaze, the planet corrupted her more than that, so much that her Ship no-longer reads her as Samus. Dark-Samus(A Metroid not naturally Planetary nor are any of them) Has: Samus’s Human, Chozo, Metroid and Phazon DNA(Phazon being the dominant substance within it) So Samus 1 Should be close to planetary +++ Because the Varia suit and Light-suit durability adds to this because Dark-Samus physical body was destroyed in the implosion where she then has to reform, but the Varia and Light suit glazes over Dark-Samus Durability and the 80-90% corruption level Samus has. Phazon in its lore was able to Corrupt spirits in another dimension, Phazon in Metroid prime 2 was able to absorb Dark-energy turning into another energy construct forming the ING(Only shape-shifted Phazon) Who could Absorb Planetary energy bit by bit. Planet Phaaze held these assimilating abilities most likely, and Samus Walked this planet without being down-loaded or corrupted fully. The Ing have tried possessing her, but it failed.
On top of her LS and barely FTL reactions, Her Dark-visor able's her to see teleportation beings that can phase out of time/space and Existence via Omnilocked.
Her Strongest weapons would have to be her Strew attack which breaks down at a cellular level, Dark-burst which is a miniature black-hole and her Sonic boom which literally distorts local reality(Time and space) like cracked glass.
As is, her Basic Power-beam harms spirits.

I wouldn't say that, her lasers are stronger and she flies better but she doesn't have his feats or his ingenuity or skill really, she frequently loses to her younger and less experienced sister do to her arrogance, in some versions she can't fly without assistance from her suit

Samus's background does make her highly skilled to take out most alien opponents, Tamaranians included.

Samus all the way! She's dealt with flying aliens that shoot stuff before, both intelligent and beasts! Plus give her hypermode and she'll have speed to match blackfire!

Hmmm, I bet on Samus for this one. Samus has a great deal of experience with taking out aliens. She has fought against her long time enemy Space Pirates, the Metroids and even against an elite group of brainwashed mercenaries in {Metroid: Hunters}. With her massive amount of projectile abilities on her suit and coupled with her enhanced agility without her Chozo Armour, Samus can beat Blackfire.
