Description Here's just the creature that will be used for the journals after a little bit of sketch editing.

Been recently stuck on the design of a Hup predator that has been tromping around in my head. So this is just a page to hammer out the design. This beasty is a plains predator about the size of a draft large horse. It homes on the open grounds where it can run down mostly small prey that won't bit back as hard. They are heavily armored, have a massive lung capacity and two rows of gill-like structures and whiskers on their heads that prove as a mass sensory organ that can detect electrical and movement vibrations, chemical scents in 3 dimensions and interpret a for of sound. Those two arms in the front are used for savage grabbing of prey and the crest on the heads of the males are used for bashing each other in competition for females.
Originally, I had come to think that this species is a new species that made its way to the main land by walking a currently exposed sandbar connecting the isolated environment island that they originate from. Once on the main land they took advantage of the sudden vast space and became quite the hellions to local wildlife, including young orekroark who have never seen them before and do not yet know to be cautious. I assume that when their island first split, they probably shared the same ancestors with these [link]
Anyways, these gill-headed animals are nameless. Perhaps anyone would have any suggestions for me?

This beast and all on Hup belong to me.

an interesting organism. the head initially reminds me of a pterosaur.....maybe something like "Therizotro"?
_The name therizinosaur is derived from the Greek therizo meaning 'to reap' or 'to cut off'_ (from the wiki) and the rest is from _Troodon_="wound tooth".

Hmmm, that is interesting I like that. Thank you for the suggestion I will put it on the possibility, it surely makes sense and I am very happy you included its meanings!
