Such uniquely colored pedals made even more beautiful in nature by convincing the flower to think that it can look nicer in a different shade, when it does look better, if only they came in the dozen like this

I look at the image and I think.. wow that would be awesome if it were ice cream
But in all seriousness it is a wonderfully done image. The colors are soo vibrant and colorful it is impossible not to feel cheerful while looking at it I love how the colors complement eachother and I believe your image has improved upon the image you gathered your inspiration upon. The compostion is perfect in everyway the petals just make my eye travel all over the entire photo they do not get fixated on any on particular spot because of how the edges of the petals just flow effortlessly from one to the next. This photo gets a 5 out of 5 star photolight aproval
