A manip, edited with GIMPSeverus´visible "Vision", whether daytimes or nightimes, - we´ll never know...
(A little but pretty detail of the picture of Rickmans Snape is the visible border of the dark contact-lense he ought to wear for being Severus. - With such dark lenses you´re almost blind...

Nice work, really great. I loved it.
I'm glad to read that apparently, Alan wears special contact lenses for that part. He usually has hazel eyes, lighter color (see some screencaps of the Sheriff of Nottingham from 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves'

- Nontheless I´ve the concern by having seen every trailer on youtube, having seen every Snape-scene in the movie, as well...
I know, many - deviantmembers as well - don´t wanna accept him as Snape... I guess, they don´t wanna see, what that very actor has done for that part. - For the screenplay would made some sort of a caricature out of Snape, - if there weren´t an Alan Rickman, who acts that much seriously each line and each scene...
I think they should show some respect therefore instead of start writing about their concern of a new flood of AR-Fanart in the Snape-Fandom after the film would have been started...

I agree, AR is not SO bad at all!.., okay he looks too old and a little bit too fat, BUT his play is wonderful, his gestures and face expressions, just perfect..so I can easily forgive the physical difference with canon Snape...
finding an actor who plays him right AND fits physically..???? I see no one...

This is a difficult matter, because the case of his aging look, is at films always a matter of lighting - and also of using digital effects.
Seing "Perfume" for example, means seing a Rickman who is not looking that much old, than the Rickam in GoF, for example - although his part in "Perfume" is one of a man equal to the actors age...
The Rickman-Snape ought to be disconnected from that Snape in the books, in my mind.
For the movies and their suspected spectators - mainly Youths(!) - and for the blessing of his plausibility, they created in the screenplay a Snape of its own. With own guidelines. I cannot say, I wouldn´t like that. You only need to accept that...

I recentley red a interview with Alan Rickman, he´d given some months ago. - Therein he´s telling about the much of time he has to reserve for the Deathly Hollows acting, - much more than in every Potter-Movie before
And he told about what he like most on the tellings of Rowling, that much of open ends, she´d left.
If you ask ME - Severus WILL SURVIVE! - No wonder, - there are lots of possibilities how he could. - Frankly, in some way it is hard to read the book and being totally convinced he MUST have died therein...

At least I´ve seen no scene about Spinners End and the Unbreakable Vow and Dracos appearance on Slughorns Party and their conversation thereafter... So maybe I am rocking the boat at this... Would be great...

I watched the prisonner of azkaban today with my childrens and was even more desappointed of the lack of Snape...Each time I watch one of the movie it's worse!!

I like Prisoner Of Azkaban much better than later films like Order Of Phoenix, for example.
I am very fond of the scene of the werewolf-class. When he entered the classroom and closing the windows shutters with the hints of his wand - wow!!!

We Snape-Fans are in a bad off...
At least there is a hope into Deathly Hollows - and that Halfblood Prince won´t be that much dissapointing than we use to think now...
I guess one movement to make two films of the one book is owing the fact, that you can´t put the whole story of the tragic and true colours of that black wizard, into a chapter of scenes. You need several events to show, for to discover Severus Snape.
I don´t believe in a possibility of the transfer of Snapes memories, like it is described in the book. Maybe Harry will be break into the headmasters office by the help of his invisible cloak. There he is using the pensieve as he did with Dumbledore, hoping to get more information. - And unintentionally, he is seeing Snapes memories... -And maybe even while Snape is still alive... Uhhh, - that would be great, - and thriling as well. Considering, Voldemort is able to see everything which Harry is seing, by the cause of the Horcrux inside of him... poor Sevvie would be than in danger, more than ever. Hunted by the Oder of Phoenix and the DA, - and by the Dark Lord, either

I wrote notes (never wrote it completly properly) just after reading DH about an alternative death of Severus, in which he let harry see in his mind instead of giving him memories..and so he died but harry knows...

No, I don´t think THAT worse is becomming true... At least, we´ve the first promo-poster of Deathly Hollows [link] which is allowing to hope, the moviemakers finally did a glance onto the going-ons in the fandom and recognized WHAT reaction they have on Severus Snape...
My intentions at this matter are very close to the questions which are the base of that picture [link]
and hopefully the writers of the screenplay had the same question and a will to give an answer...
Beta matter: she said - a try cannot harm! - Still she´s convinced to be not good enough, but after I made a chapter I should send it to her and she´ll have a look on it...
