Tundra is a OOAK (one of a kind) kirin sculpture. He is made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature and painted in acrylics.

Tundra is very large, standing about 12.5 inches tall when on his base. He is about 5.5 inches long from chest to bum, and his horn, which is a flowering tree, is about 7 inches long. Tundra is very detailed, with light blue resin eyes and iridescent gold scales. Tundra's base is very detailed as well, including a pool of water, flowers, and plants. Tundra is removable from his base using a peg and rod system. The peg I used is square shaped, which prevents rotational movement and makes him much sturdier. His hair is made from tibetan lamb fur. The ends of Tundra's tail and tree horn are made from a plastic substance, not clay, which prevents them from breaking and makes them much lighter.
