this was a mosaiced table top that I worked on with fellow staff members for the willowbrook aucition this year... this piece of work took almost three weeks to restore and complete, because the table itself was donated and in really bad shape. The double-headed snake is the Incan god of thunder; Quesequatal.... I think that's how you spell it...-- mosaiced with stained glass scrap and sealed with tile grout

Great work! I love the richness of the coloured tiles yuz used. The design is lovely, keeping it fairly simple makes it stand out better. The grout colour looks really good too.

No Worries! I will be running a workshop with some disabled people & school kids pretty soon making small wood mounted mosaics so I'm looking around for inspiration at the moment.
