Thanks! It took probably over 200 hours and many are not willing to spend that long in one area. I like to draw one section at a time and move on. Thanks for the add! I post wips here -> [link]

Thank you Cris! I don't use powder but I do like to layer from light to dark using a dry paintbrush for transitioning tones. I used less blending in this one. That means I waited to blend in the final layers rather than blend on each one. I used to blend each layer and it would ruin the tooth of the paper. Thanks for the great comment!

You're absolutely welcome Scott I remember you mentioning you don't exclusively use powder but I have to say. . .you've done an incredible job without it! I find this helps me with the layering light-to-dark, as I believe this to be the best way to achieve even tones & you're also correct. . .a lifting here & there with the use of a kneadable eraser will reveal the underlying layer/s & add that much greater depth to the piece.

Thanks! The works take a real long time to make. If you want to follow the installments I post them on the artpage. I tend to just use DA as a gallery and not a connectivity hub. Although they have great resources here! Great source for spiritual works which is in the plans for the next one. [link]

Thanks Luca, I think it would be a great idea for you to do one. I was looking at your drawings a week ago and your introduction to blending with dry paintbrushes have helped me tremendously in shading. Thanks for that. I hope you get back to drawing one day. I like to pretend to be Neo sometimes LOL
