Yes, all the markings are made by cutting out the black and laying in the yellow. It's all hand sewn together with a ladder stitch. (though I would suggest using a basemall stitch to anyone else trying it lol)

lol yeah, I realized after it was done that the baseball stitch was not only easier for me, but more secure too!
