Another small painting (about 5x7) made as a gift for someone who's now isolated from the internet in a cold and lonely land, and will not have the chance to see it online before the holidays.Related content

I love the texture on the statue, and the pops of color the flowers provide (and how their pinks/oranges are also the color of the highlights on Ganesha!).

Ganesha was the Hindu (Buddhist?) god of good luck or something like that, right? Does (s)he normally play the flute? Regardless, I like the brightness of the flowers, and all the textures.
