I intended on making casts of this thing to turn into book ends (all of casts failed) which I would paint. I thought of painting some realistic, solid colors, and patterns like polka dots.

That casting thing sounds really awesome. I am sorry it hasn't been working.

It's a great piece though and I wouldn't mind seeing it colored!
