I recently became interested in recycled materials. I love the idea of reusing materials that would otherwise be thrown away.
I recently bought a Big Shot (die-cutting machine) and got a few dies and embossing folders for it, that came into some very straight and clean packaging and I couldn't put myself to throw them away, so I cut it in flat pieces and stored it for later. I don't know how I came across the idea, but I cut some flower shapes using the Big Shot, painted them with some home made alcohol inks and Copic markers and ultimately shaped the flowers using a candle flame. I loved the end result and I want to experiment more with this idea .
