Nice!
Would you mind telling me what kind of rivets you usually use?

For holding pieces of leather together, I use leather rivet like these:

The studs on this armor are more ornemental studs, like these:

They don't really hold anything...

Found them in a leather supply store, in a section where companie's overstock is put on sale. A luck, I've never seen any like those since...

very nice. it's certainly much better than my laces-and-ties getup that i made some eons ago...course i mostly staff fight, and im fast, so what i have does enough for now. soon, though i do think i'll have to make something else...but great job, it really is quite detailed.

Cool! I've seen alot of leather armor but the looks actually comfortable. The heat not withstanding.

I like the rugged practical look of the design. i could imagine Conan wearing this outfit.

Dans des mΓ©diΓ©vales grandeur nature... typiquement Γ Bicolline. Tu y ferais fureur avec ton costume de Faun, il est malade!

if you read his description you'll notice that he's got studded written there. If you'll look at his work, you'll notice he's the armor guru, not you. If you don't have worthwhile comments, you shouldn't leave them. I've seen a few not so cool comments from you in his gallery.

okay, the armor I use has to hold up to rather heavier abuse - and I mean abuse - than most LARP gear. we hit full force, with enough power to break bone, yet we (the SCA) have a better safety record than American football, because we wear full armor. I WILL get some pics up into my own gallery in the near future
