People are always freaking out at the number of layers I use in my works, but there's a super easy trick to navigate between layers in SAI which makes it practically unnecessary to organize or label your layers!Don't ask me how it's done or if it's possible in Photoshop, Ilustrator, GIMP...
Because I just don't know. I have never used any other program but SAI.

is there any, any, ANY way to scroll through layers on paintool Sai? WITHOUT clicking through them manually with the mouse?Β i want to be able to scroll, tab, or pound aΒ key to move up or down a layer..Β i admit to trying to use Sai as an animating program even though that is not it's function. it's so frustrating... i don't want to make comics. but it isn't just for comics. you can do pretty cool stuff with it but with photoshop too! it's harder to get used to/understand than sai, and i am kind of attached to sai... but it has many other stuff... i'm just too afraid to make the wrong decision because 50$ is like thrice the price on my currency

Say what you will, layer naming is one of the few things I have control over.

Well, in gimp you can use the page-up, page-down, home and end keys to navigate through the layers list at any time, regardless of selected tool... so that's pretty handy as well

Hmm I don't use SAI much these days due to Manga Studio 5 but this seems to work for both, maybe all drawing software?
