Description This is a dummy cake I did for the Bridal show on Thursday, and something that I've been wanting to do for a while. It is a cake based on The wedding dress Izumik designed.

The lace is royal icing that was piped out and then applied individually

This is so beautiful. How were you able to keep it stable with the narrower bottom. Everytime I try they always fall over and it is so depressing to see all that work ruined.

Styrofoam as a base. You would do the bottom half of the ball in the Styrofoam and the top half of the ball in cake. That way it doesn't collapse on itself.
