And so I finished Goliath the same day it came out. I have to say I loved it. The ending was perfect. I couldn't have written it better myself. Unfortunately Mr. Westerfeld doesn't put an epilogue in and that is very upsetting for myself, mainly because I want more.

And now this description is going to get spoiler-y. So stop reading if you don't want the book ruined for you.

I had to draw this picture because I wanted to make the epilogue that I was missing.

So what happens:
-Deryn and Alek become Zookeepers and get to fly all the time
-The war ends and Deryn can finally say who she is.
-After much convincing and arguments from Alek and Dr. Barlow, Deryn finally agrees to grow her hair out "just a squick" but she still refuses to wear dresses
-Deryn became the face of women's suffrage in Britain
-Alek helps bring clanker technology to Britain where the two technologies mix for great results
-Alek got to marry his best friend
-The only time Alek has ever seen Deryn in a dress was at their wedding where Jaspert walked her down the aisle
-Eddie Malone got invited as well as Adela Rogers
-It was the wedding of the century
-Deryn gets her two loves forever: flying and Alek
