Description The last 1790s character for the Timeline project!

This costume is from 1794-1795 and really, really different from the other two 1790s pictures I've drawn After 1789, fashions changed super fast and women's dress became quite revealing!

Oh, definitely Greek and Roman motifs popped up every now then throughout the entire 18th century (mostly in fantasy/costume dress), but neo-classicism really took hold during the 1780s with the popularity of the chemise dress. And by the mid 1790s, a lot of women were wearing dresses like the one here.

I like this style of dress, though it is different I love how you make folds in dresses and I love her hair
