Description I saw her dressed in black.

Along the path of moon
She came,
From darkness all above
She descended
And stopped at the edge
Of myshadow.

Old and weary or
Young and crisp,
Who could tell
What she was like?
For she was robed
In veil so dark that
No ray could pierce it,
Black dust of void
Between living and dead.

My life flashed in her eyes -
Dark holes into nothingness,
From which joy and sorrow are born,
Tears of sorrow and happiness fall.
But what could I change in my life
When it ran in her orbs?
She hid her smile behind her veil
And left in silence.

I knew it was my destiny, which
Passed in front of my sight.
I wanted to ask a question,
But could not summon words to aid.
A question about life or death?
Don\'t know.
What would you ask,
If you met your fate
Dressed all in black?

What would I ask of my fate?

Methinks I would ask if I had a purpose, some meaningful destiny to work towards.

I like this poem. The concepts, imagery, and the question all intrigued me, and made me think.

THIS IS REALLY GOOD i like the langage you use, and how it flows... it's spectacular... i like the idea. destiny... what would you ask, if you saw someone who knows your fate? intruiguing....

very nice work, reppition of the word sorrow in the third stanza makes it a bit odd, but great work other then that, i would ask who shall i spend my life with?

hmmm very good question, I wonder what I would ask *thinks, ponders* I don't know I would have to really really think about that one. You did a very lovely job in writing this, when I first started reading it I was wondering where you were going with it. THEN you sinched it all in at the very end.
