Man I cant believe that a few seconds a gold scepter appeared then it created such a MLP net spread. What will the think of next? Maybe a journal about celestia in the next episode and we all cant wait for the ghost ponys look.

Can come off as serious. Although a parody, I could see her asking for it back for joking purposes. More specifically, asking for a version for all her friends (probably at Pinkie's suggestion, if not her making the suggestion), and all six having a good laugh with 'em. Downtime bonding, in other words (could also be a method of the change being incorporated more lightly among the six of them).

Forgot to mention that it could also be nice (if done), since it could also demonstrate that the status change isn't taken so seriously all the time that it strains the friendship (doubt it would be taken that far anyway, but humor does have a nice way of helping).

I'm guessing it's one of those "it's so silly/ridiculous it's cool" kind of scenarios. Something coming off as endearing because of more silly qualities, in other words (possibly like Daffy Duck in the classic "Rabbit Season! Duck Season!" argument).
From what was seen in the series premier, Discord presented it as a means to poke fun at Twilight, and apparently it seems to be working on a wider scale (finding humor in her change).

What do you mean finding humor in her change? I mean i get you, but you know, that.

I'm guessing that Discord didn't like that Twilight came back to Ponyville at her friends' suggestion, in the premier. Possibly one of the ways he expresses dislike for someone may be to find something funny about them (or create something that makes the person funny), and zero in on that one. Considering also that the two people who originally imprisoned him were princesses, and that the most recent person to imprison him has just become a princess, he probably doesn't have a high opinion of royalty (possibly higher motive to find ways to make fun of them). Then again, as the embodiment of chaos, and royalty being symbols of order, that may have already been a given.
I'm guessing the exception to the above rule would be Fluttershy, since he knows (from "Keep Calm and Flutter On") that she may figure out a way to get under his skin emotionally (doing this justifiably, mind you), and that he's better off not going there (also probably knows he can easily avoid this with her).
