So Momcat seems to be losing her hair in a few places? I think it might be an allergic reaction to the flea collar I put on her but I don't know. She's missing hair on top of her head and her neck where the collar sat, so I'm hoping that's it.I hope it stops though, hairless cats are fucking hideous.

It could be an allergic reaction, or it could be agitation/stress grooming.
Our kitty, Bonsai, lost some hair around her neck when she first started wearing a collar (she was scratching to get it off) and she groomed her eyebrow-whiskers and surrounding fur right the heck off a few times when major changes happened in our lives.

It might be mange mites. They come around this time of year. They suck the blood from the skin and all the fur falls off of the afflicted area. Most vets treat it with a series of shots over a couple of weeks. They're microscopic, so you can't really see them in all that fur.
