Vertebrates are tetrapods, not hexapods.
The wings are nothing else than transformed upper limbs due to evolution, not an additional 3rd pair of limbs.

Yes, I did eventually figure that out from seeing the other photos. Nice bit of work there! I've done some ceramic sculptures of dragons, and love how you can let your imagination run wild.....
(I'm also fascinated by the whole phenomenon of the BJD or poseable art dolls. It's a great way to create art that can keep morphing however you want it to...
