Description Starring Bismaru and Jurokubei from Ganbare Goemon.

I've laughed so hard over that title... it ended up sounding so... GROSS...

Anywho, if you don't know who Jurokubei is, he's from Ganbare Goemon 3, and you can get to know the guy & his Omikuji by watching the subtitled videos for this game: [link]
This somehow turned into even more of a time munching behemoth than my usual. You can watch my sanity slip as the art progressively gets better (look at the first drawing of Bis, it's so oogaleh!) I tried to work faster, but it backfired and I worked even slower!

Jurokubei's a pain in the arse to draw non-chibi...

The background of the title frame has nothing to do with anything no matter HOW long you stare at it. I took the rest of the photos at a hotel in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Hey, I needed some kind of random background, but otherwise it has nothing to do with anything.

It was originally going to be twice as long, with the second half being where Bismaru gets abused by Dochuki, under the title, "Why Bismaru's Life Sucks!" But as soon as I figured out how long this was gonna take, that went out the window.

Poor Jurokubei, you can't blame him for wanting a brownie, right??????

Question 1: Is "Bismaru" some sort of fandom, hipster way of saying "Ebisumaru?" Or is this a completely different person?

Answer 1: Bismaru isn't Ebisumaru... he's from the same Japanese game as Jurokubei, but he also shows up in an English one, the second N64 game. Ebisumaru has another almost-clone, too- Obisumaru. He's a gay transvestite male, labelled as female in the Euro instruction book for said N64 game, I guess to make parents looking at the instruction book feel less weird about having their kids play a game with this character?
Answer 2: I didn't intend a double-meaning, but considering Bismaru really wants Jurokubei, there's a layer here that now seems, uh... erm...
