Squall Leonhart
Age: 23

Squall left the others behind after the world was restored a year ago. Having no place to call home, he drifted from town to town, having no goal or destination in mind. Eventually Squall found himself staring up at the Scar on the continent of Gedrir.

Grahf found Squall there, and not wanting the young man to waste his new life away, he pushed Squall toward an acquaintance he believed could help in giving the former assassin a new purpose. Squall followed Grahf’s instructions and went to Indus, where he met an odd fellow named Doc Odine (FFVIII). It was the doctor who introduced Squall to the world of Monster Hunting.

Now, over the past year, Squall has been carrying out Monster Hunt quests for the Doc, who uses the materials of the fell beasts to craft new weapons and armor. Doc’s trade itself seems rather shady, with the man constantly relocating in random bars around the world. Squall keeps up with the man, also traveling around the world to destroy the rare marks. It was no different to what he had been doing in Ziedrich under MOTHER’s instruction—destroying strong monsters to protect the general populace. The only difference now was that he knew the reason he was fighting. In his own way, and using the only skills he knew he had, he would continue protecting the people of Minerva. After all…Lenneth had died to protect them….

Squall was devastated upon seeing the land revive a year ago, knowing instantly what that meant. He had told Fei that he could not use the Orexis Gemstone for that purpose, but Fei did it anyway. Needless to say, Squall stopped talking to Fei. In fact, after that event, he hasn’t spoken with anyone from the main party, save Grahf and Yuffie (who is more of a nuisance by blowing up his phone). He had lost KOS-MOS and T-elos (whom together he found out were actually Mary ), lost his best friend Sephiroth , and now he had lost the person who gave him back the motivation to live on his own and think for himself—Lenneth. Having lost too many people important to him, Squall needed a place or a person to direct his anger. Fei was a prime target.

Now, a year later, a surprise attack cripples Grahf and leaves him on the verge of death, bringing all the separated Great Heroes back together to investigate. Squall does not show up even when called, but hearing a description of Grahf’s assailant quickly changes his mind….

In FFC Squall uses a laser bow and arrow; the string is made of plasma energy, so the bow can also double as a sort of energy saber. (If you've ever seen the movie Blade: Trinity, you may know what I'm talking about : the ultraviolet arc and the compound bow combined.) He also often dual-wields plasma pistols in battle. Squall's Element is Shadow; thus, he is born under the sign of Kefka. In his Cross form, Squall's muscles enlarge, and he grows giant demon wings. His skin turns dark blue, and horns—antlers, rather—sprout from his head. Finally, his voice deepens by several pitches.

Squall is originally from the RPG Final Fantasy VIII though in FFC he resembles his Kingdom Hearts counterpart more. He is voiced by my cousin.
