Season 1 Heroes

Kimahri Ronso
Age: approximately 30
Element/God: Air/Strago
Weapon: Gauntlets
Originally From: Final Fantasy X

Kimahri is a prominent politician in the Fraughfield Republic. In President Sephiroth's administration , he is the Speaker of the House. He is normally equianimous and fair; however, he has a tendency to lose his temper whenever his family is endangered. He is of course loyal to the president and generally agrees with most of his decisions.

At the beginning of the series Kimahri is burdened with the passing of a bill that would fund federal research facilities with the sole purpose of studying the Plague. However, the recent terrorist threats by AVALANCHE have been diverting his attention away from this urgent issue. The asylums and hospitals are bursting at the seams; they cannot take on any new patients….

Kimahri is a busy man, so he travels a great deal and doesn't get to spend much time at home with his family . However, he communicates with them whenever he can, sending his wife presents and his daughter various toys. Kimahri wants a vacation some time in the near future so he can spend some much needed quality time with his neglected family. Unfortunately, a sudden terrorist attack completely ruins this opportunity and changes the lives of his family forever….

Season 2 Profile
The Fraughfield Republic entered a state of emergency during Season 1. The entire chain of command had been killed. Kimahri was the only member of the administration left. He had to completely reassemble the governing powers from the remnants of his fallen country. Needless to say, this was not easy. He first created a temporary cabinet consisting of lower-ranking executors from the various fifteen sectors. They would have to be promoted until more suitable/willing candidates stepped forward. Auron and Bart temporarily supported him, but after more politicians appeared, the two were allowed to return to active duty.

A year later, and a speculative shadow of the former government remains. The “Republic” was built by Sephiroth to give Demihumans a voice—to give them freedom. However, until now the Republic had been that in name only. Sephiroth had always been the president, making the country no different from Syris’s monarchy. It was time to hold a general election for the first time in Fraughfield’s history.

But here was another dilemma. What were the Demihumans looking for in a leader? Like the Mechapolitans and their former dictator, they are used to Sephiroth and will have trouble adjusting to seeing someone else in office. In light of this problem, the close connection between Sephiroth’s Republic and MOTHER’s Mechapolis became even clearer. The Demihumans were sheep as well—they just didn’t know it.

Since not many Demihumans were willing to step forward, Humes entered the race as well, volunteering to fill the void Sephiroth left behind. They dug out the ancient documents on elections and the rules set by them henceforth, and they tentatively programmed a faintly similar event to take place on the day of the country’s founding one year later. That gave plenty of time for any politicians who were serious enough to rebuild Fraughfield from scratch to come forward and announce their candidacy. If Kimahri just took over without asking for anyone’s approval, he could potentially become the next “monarch” like his late friend since the public wouldn’t realize they actually had options.

Now faced with opposition , unrest , and religious fervor , Kimahri can no longer travel the world with his former allies. However, his conflict is still directly connected to the heroes at large….

Kimahri does not rejoin the main party in Season 2. He does support them however, and sometimes he is a guest party member.  For those who are rather taken aback by the changes to Kimahri in FFC, I can say that we have a pleasant surprise for waiting for you in Season 2, Episode 7.

In FFC Kimahri fights with gauntlets. Kimahri is a Demihuman; thus, he has no Cross and Hyper form. However, his Element is Air (Strago), and he can adeptly use Air Element Magics as well as pummel enemies with his massive fists.

Kimahri is originally from the RPG Final Fantasy X, and he is voiced by my brother.

Kimahri's family is here .

Oh wow a Kimahri in a suit...can I just say winner ? Rocking the unbroken horn too I see, is he still considered a "runt" compared to his fellows in this? Oh and what is the design of his belt buckle based on? Definitely loving this alternate universe setting you have for your work, I haven't done any checking yet but is this Final Fantasy Cross your idea or something you were commissioned for?

Hah hah, considering that he is wearing a suit, it worked out pretty well. Reminds me of Beast from X-Men. Well, his belt buckle was the original one if I recall, but I may not have drawn it too well, lol. At this point in time the only "Ronso" in the story is Kimahri, so thankfully he doesn't have to worry about competing with Biran and Yenke in FFC.

Thanks for your interest! I definitely need to get going on this (since I still have two more seasons and a movie to type up as well >.<), but life keeps getting in the way! This was definitely my idea, shared and developed equally with my brother and cousin. I have to give them credit where credit is due. We weren't commissioned; believe it or not, we did stuff like this for fun.
