Fraughfield Republic
The Republic resides in the north and eastern hemispheres of the world. The government consists of a nonparty federal republic with a bicameral legislature. The executive branch is aided by the two legislative bodies, the House of Representives and the much smaller Senate. Fraughfield houses a 90% Demihuman population, so Humes are the vast minority. Most of their exports consist of metal ores such as iron and mythril, but they primarily import from Mechapolis . They are the only country granted this privilege, so their society is a great deal more advanced than the rest of the world. We would say Fraughfield is the most “modern” country in the world. The mutualistic relationship between Fraughfield and Mechapolis has harbored suspicions and mistrust between them and the other nations, but the Republic has managed to remain out of the major conflicts of the world thus far. This may be due to their traditionally isolationist policies, obviously adopted from Mechapolis (though Fraughfield's practice is not as severe). The country itself is largely industrialized, and the land is divided into 15 political sectors.

Fraughfield Republic (Season 2)
After the Parousia War a year ago, the world of Minerva was almost restored to its former state. However, several reminders of the battles remain even after the Orexis Gemstone was used. One of these reminders is the still-shattered northern continent which used to be home to the Fraughfield Republic. No one knows why the Gemstone did not restore this continent—perhaps it was beyond the Gemstone’s power, or perhaps the Planet Herself simply chose not to. Either way, any who gaze upon the jagged, destroyed earth are certain to remember the strife of the past, and to never forget the lessons learned from it.

The people of Fraughfield are many, and the other countries have their hands full simply relocating the survivors from Mechapolis. Unfortunately, that means that even after a year, most of Fraughfield’s population is still at sea within the emergency evacuation fleet. The ones who did move away live in heavily crowded temporary settlements within the various countries. Syris and Henhue are doing what they can, but eventually they will not be able to take in any more evacuees. Their resources are limited.

With the destruction of an entire continent, there are too many people and too few places for them to live.

President Sephiroth
Age: unknown, appears 32
Originally From: Final Fantasy VII

Sephiroth is the executive head of state for the Fraughfield Republic. He is always dressed in black and seems surprisingly uncharismatic. However, he has been elected to the presidency for multiple consecutive terms, so the people must be satisfied with his ruling prowess. What is mysterious, however, is Sephiroth's age. He has been in the capital for as long as anyone can remember, but he doesn't appear to be very old.

Sephiroth, in the most neutral position in the world (besides the completely isolated Mechapolis), administers the World Summit Meetings held in his country. He is somewhat stark and frigid in manner and speech, but he is firm in his beliefs.

He seems to know more than he lets on about the Plague slowly covering the world. Lately he has become even more withdrawn and sullen than usual although he has still charged his best agents with discovering the source of the Plague. He may have some sort of connection with Mechapolis, as well, as he seems to know Squall and KOS-MOS from somewhere. Despite the information he has on the Will, he shares his secrets with no one.

Season 2 Profile
Age: Deceased
Though Sephiroth is gone, never to return, a strange group of chaotic warriors have appeared with some kind of connection to him….

Sephiroth is originally from the RPG Final Fantasy VII, and he is voiced by my cousin. In FFC he wears his hair in a ponytail, and his wing is always present. Also, we downplayed the tremendous power Sephiroth always has in everything. Aside from his seeming agelessness, he has no special abilities whatsoever. He can't even fight.

Vice President Magus
Age: unknown
Hyperion: [See alternate profile here.] [SPOILER FOR SEASON 1]
Element/God: [See alternate profile here.] [SPOILER FOR SEASON 1]
Originally From: Chrono Trigger

Perpetually grouchy and strict, Magus is Vice President. If Kimahri is Sephiroth's right hand, Magus is his left. He remains in the background for most of the story, silently watching everyone's actions. It is a known fact, however, that he doesn't get along with Bart very well.

Magus may take a large backseat in the plot at the beginning, but be assured, his role in the story may be the most important of all….

Magus is originally from the RPG Chrono Trigger, and he is voiced by my cousin. In FFC he still wears his cloak, but it's overlaying his suit.

Kimahri Ronso (not pictured)
Age: approximately 30
Element/God: Air/Strago
Weapon: Gauntlets
Originally From: Final Fantasy X

For info on Kimahri, see his individual picture .

Kimahri is originally from the RPG Final Fantasy X, and he is voiced by my brother.

Special Agent Auron
Age: 37
Weapon: Two-handed sword
Originally From: Final Fantasy X

Auron was an agent of the Secret Service until he went into retirement, living at home with his wife. However, upon the acquisition of unbreakable Id , his old partner Bart was sent to bring him back into the force. Auron is known to be one of the best agents—although he refuses to use any sort of modern weapon. He abhors guns, so instead he hauls around his huge archaic blade. This annoys Bart to no end, of course, especially when they're being pelted by a hail of gunfire. Apparently Auron and the Speaker of the House, Kimahri , are old friends.

Auron is originally from the RPG Final Fantasy X, and he is voiced by my brother.

Special Agent Bart Fatima
Age: 25 (26 in Season 2)
Weapon: Handgun; Whip
Originally From: Xenogears

Bart is a cocky, trash-talking young agent for the Secret Service. Originally he was targeting the wanted terrorist group AVALANCHE, but the apprehension of Id derailed him from that objective. Id is suspected of having something to do with the spread of the plague due to his corresponding utterances about a "Will" and a "Second Coming." Being unable to break Id in interrogation and anticipating a future attack by AVALANCHE, he has no choice but to bring in an expert (and his old partner), Auron.

Bart lost his eye during the same mission that Auron lost his, but what exactly happened during this mission has not yet been explained. It is known that this mission is what put Auron into retirement.

Bart is originally from the RPG Xenogears, and he is voiced by my cousin.
