"With socks," added Jane Eden. "What a cutie." She leaned into the embrace of her husband Allen Eden as the four individuals watched the foal stand on shaky legs beside his mother.

Chloe could hardly contain her excitement at the sight of the handsome newborn Yasaeng Warmblood colt. She'd been working with the academy on procuring one of their fine bitless bridle stock for a while now. So to see the day was finally here was surreal. To think, this had all started months ago, and now she and her team were here in among the cherry blossoms and beautiful Asian architecture to witness the birth of another future Serenity Hill steed.

"We should meet with the instructors," Allen said. "I want to get a jump on learning the correct handling for this little guy."

He and Jane walked away, hand in hand, with Ben close behind until he realized that Chloe wasn't following. He turned back toward her, raising an eyebrow. "Hey, aren't you coming?"

"In just a minute. I just want to watch him for a little longer."

Ben chuckled under his breath, saying curiously, "So what are you gonna name this one?"

She smiled. "Jane already guessed it - Socks."
